Welcome

Whether you are a new writer with just a glimmer of an idea, a seasoned author whose manuscript deserves a caring editor and professional design, or an organization with an important story to tell, you’ve come to the right place.

Better Books is a comprehensive author services company that offers coaching, editing, book design, and book packaging. Since 2000 (as Lorimer Press) we’ve been helping people just like you get their book projects not just off the ground, but soaring to great heights.

We’ve worked with poets, novelists, and memoirists as well as large corporations, non-profit organizations, and municipalities, providing all with unmatched attention to detail—from a one-of-a-kind art book to mass market print runs of ten thousand.

Rindoks’ ability to design, edit, and coach, combined with her high standards of content and visual product quality make her services absolutely invaluable to any author (and/or illustrator) who wants a quality book that will stand out from the competition and enjoy a long shelf-life.

In an industry where the first impression might be the only chance an author has to launch a project successfully, it is absolutely critical to have Leslie Rindoks and Better Books as part of the team.

Life Really is Great for Dan Pliszka

Dan Pliszka, author of Life Is Great (even if your boat flips over), continues to ride the waves of success. After a January 2019 release, his book sold so well, he recently returned to the presses for a second printing. If you don't have a copy yet, better hurry before this run disappears!

No time to read, you say? No problem. Dan also spent some time in the recording studio and has released the title as an audio book.

Never one to do things in a small way, Dan had Life Is Great formatted as an ebook as well.

He attributes the success of his title to—no surprise—the tenets he espouses in the book. His "guidelines" include:

1. Take control.

2. Believe you can!

3. Be BOLD!

4. Find your values.

5. Realize that everyone is smarter than you.

6. Know that life is too short.

7. HAVE FUN!

Life Is Great  is an easy to follow guide for anyone wondering how to live the life of their dreams. And even though it's barely March, it's not too early to be thinking about graduation gifts—this book fits the bill.

Sail on over to Dan's website and hook a copy for yourself. https://www.dpgreatlife.com/books
